Is Pretty Woman Cruelty-Free and Vegan?

Make a positive impact by supporting companies with the same values and ethics as what matters most to you. To navigate and find ethical brands, here's a summary of Pretty Woman's ethics and initiatives.

Ethical Analysis

Is Pretty Woman cruelty-free, vegan, or sustainable? We’ve got the answers here! Read below for more details on Pretty Woman’s policies.
Pretty Woman is cruelty-free. None of Pretty Woman’s ingredients, formulations, or finished products are tested on animals, anywhere in the world.
All of Pretty Woman products are 100% vegan and don’t contain any animal-derived ingredients or by-products.
Pretty Woman does not claim or market itself as a sustainable company.
Pretty Woman states their nail polishes might contain mica and that they work with suppliers that are “social responsible.” However, it’s not clear where their mica is mined or sourced from and how they trace or audit to ensure no child labor was involved.
Pretty Woman packaging has some plastic components. I couldn’t find anything stating they’re working on reducing their use of virgin plastic in their product packaging.

Ethical Mica Sourcing Policy

I asked Pretty Woman if their mica is ethically sourced without forced or child labor and they responded stating,

“Our nail polishes might contain Mica. We work with sparkle suppliers that are well known in the industry, with high quality standards and they are social responsible.”
