Why is OPI in the photo of CF nail polishes, when you say at the top that they aren’t cruelty free?

I’m not sure which photo you’re referring to but the one photo in this post that I designed with all the nail polishes does NOT include OPI. If you could please clarify where you’re seeing a photo of OPI, thank you! =)

KL Polish is cruelty free! Not sure if it’s vegan, but it’s a great formula that I really enjoy. Thank you for this list!

Does anyone know of any cruelty free press on nails or glue? They’re pretty much non-existent, I feel. 🙁

Can you help? You listed “VEQUE” as being vegan. I was unable to find this brand. Is this a typo, and should it read “Venique”? Thank you. (AND THANK YOU FOR THIS ARTICLE)

It’s a relatively new brand so that’s probably why they’re not ranking higher in search results but here’s their website! =) https://www.veque.com/ I tried a handful of their polish and they’re AMAZING! Very opaque and they have some beautiful colors. I’ll be posting a review of their polish soon!

Thank you so much for this valuable and helpful list. Despite being listed as a 100% vegan brand, Priti NYC has a primer/ ridge filler product that is described as containing silk powder. This product is also described as being vegan. Of course it isn’t vegan if it contains silk.

      Hey Meghan,
How frustrating! I had another reader inform me that some derivative of silk was listed in another Priti product! I emailed them to inquire about this and they assured me that the product didn’t actually contain that ingredient and their products remain to be vegan.

I’ve now removed the label “100% vegan” from Priti NYC and I’ll contact them again to ask what the deal is with their label and ingredients!

Thanks for letting me know Meghan!

      Hey Meghan,
I just got a response back from Priti and they have again assured me that none of the nail polish or treatments contain silk powder.

Here is their response on the matter:

“i had no idea that i had left the ingredient listing up from when we first started which had silk powder .01 percent in it. we reformulated that pretty fast. and i haven’t been the one to check my website for a long time.
so a client pointed it out yesterday…this is our ingredient list. for that product which i will replace on the site.”

They attached an ingredient list which I looked over and silk powder wasn’t listed. Thank goodness!! =)
