LaRitzy Vegan & Cruelty-Free November Box
Once you open LaRitzy‘s November box, you’re greeted with a postcard saying, “Hello. Beautiful.” It really is kindness in a box! I was extremely excited about their November box because 1) It’s their first 100% vegan box since LaRitzy’s founder, Emily officially announced they’ll be switching to only vegan beauty products (in addition to being cruelty-free of course!) and 2) I heard the November box was going to be full of goodies worth over $100 in value!
That’s a steal considering the box is only $24.99/month and you get 4-5 full size/luxury sample size vegan products! If you want to save more, you can use my coupon code: ELEPHANT10 to get 10% off your first month’s box.
LaRitzy Vegan November Box
My First impressions:
LaRitzy includes lots of full size products! This month’s box has 4!
In last month’s review, I said that I wanted to see more vegan color cosmetics or makeup products and so this month I was delighted to see a finishing powder and pressed powdered blush!
But the blush came unpressed in the shipping process. It was wrapped tightly in some bubble wrap and secured with tape so they tried their best and thankfully the tape helped avoid a mess inside the box
I noticed that all 4 products were vegan face products. I’m a lover of variety and get super picky on trying new products on my face so I would have loved to see more variety including something for hair or body in a single month’s box.
Finishing Powder by Glam Natural ($30 value)
This is a 100% pure silicone powder. It is a super-fine finishing powder and claims to give ‘a flawless, velvet finish’. I gave it a try and it’s incredibly fine and lightweight and goes on translucent, I will need to experiment more with this but I’m intrigued that it’s just silicone powder!
Green Smoothie Face Masque & Scrub by Jacq’s Organics ($17.50 value)
I’m super excited to try this face mask and scrub! Using all natural ingredients including organic sea kelp, activated bamboo charcoal, and bentonite clay, this green smoothie face mask claims to refresh, cool, and soften skin. I wasn’t sure if this was a sample size but once I opened it and saw that the little container was filled to the top, I realized 1 oz will last me awhile!
Pressed Cheek Colour by Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques ($14 value)
I got the shade Sweet Sixteen which was a bit too dark for me and didn’t go with my skin tone but the blush itself has a gorgeous color payoff and is very easy to blend.
Collagen Booster & Restoration Serum by Palmetto Derma ($48 Value)
I have never heard of Palmetto Derma before so naturally I was excited to give this face serum a try! This is probably the only serum I own that doesn’t have a scent to it, the texture reminds me of aloe vera and doesn’t have an oily residue like most serums do. Will have to do a full review of this!
Final Thoughts on LaRitzy Vegan November Box
I’m very intrigued by LaRitzy’s Vegan November Box, what I love about these monthly subscription box is that they’re always introducing me to new products and brands that I’ve never heard or tried before and LaRitzy in particular has accomplished that with this month’s curated box.
One thing I recently noticed with these subscription boxes is how much waste they produce with providing little samples and all that extra unnecessary packaging that goes with it. But since LaRitzy offers full size vegan products, I feel a little less guilty about getting to try different products monthly as they go far beyond a one-time use.
