Is Wet N Wild Cruelty-Free?

{UPDATE: MAY 21, 2019} Unfortunately, Wet N Wild can no longer be considered cruelty-free since they have decided to start selling their products in-stores in Mainland China.

Wet N Wild was caught selling their products in-stores in mainland China and was recently exposed by Cruelty-Free Kitty. Please take the time to read through her very detailed post proving Wet N Wild products are indeed sold in mainland China.

Is Wet N Wild Vegan?

Wet N Wild does offer products that do not contain any animal-derived ingredients or by-products but since Wet N Wild is no longer considered cruelty-free, by default, we would also no longer consider their products to be vegan.

Thanks! I’m so happy that veganism is steadily gaining popularity. Not just for the animals, but me too lol! I became a vegetarian at the age of 9 and was living a fully vegan lifestyle by 19. I’m 32 now, but b-in-the-d internet access was limited and websites provided very little information. I actually learned how to formulate cosmetics myself because advanced chemistry was easier than calling each company to ask about each ingredient in each product…

Wow, that’s amazing Elissa! You’ve been meatless for so many years and it must have been awesome to see how much has changed for vegetarian/vegan options throughout the years! I’ve only been vegan for 5 years, and just looking back to the vegan options available in 2012.. it feels like a completely different century we’ve living in now! haha I also love how you started to make your own cosmetics! Maybe you should start a vegan cosmetic business yourself! 😉 hahah
