Animal testing for cosmetics is STILL happening as we go into 2020! 💉🐁 Neither the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) nor the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission *require* animal testing for cosmetics or household products. There are sufficient existing safety data as well as in vitro alternatives to make animal testing for these products obsolete. (Source: Leaping Bunny)
.
Therefore it is up to brands and ingredient suppliers to ensure no new animal tests occur during any stage of product development and manufacturing.
.
Vote with your consumer dollars by choosing to only buy from cruelty-free brands in 2020! ✊🏻 Let’s continue to fight to see a global end to animal testing for cosmetics! ✨

Looking for a stylish vegan winter coat to keep you warm this season? ❄️ Here are some ethical vegan outerwear labels! 🌿 From vegan puffers, parkas, bombers, vests, coats, and jackets for men, women, and kids! 🧥✨
.
What to look out for in an ethical + vegan winter coat:
❄️ Avoid coats filled with down and animal feathers -- instead, these vegan labels use recycled polyester that are made from used bottles and post-consumer recycled content. They're also warmer, lighter, and more breathable than goose-down!
❄️ Read the label to see if the fur-trim is animal-derived or not. -- Don't just assume it's faux fur, it only takes two seconds to check to be sure!
❄️ Ethically-made -- If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. Support vegan labels that care about the people making their clothes just as much as they do about the animals! Are their workers treated fairly, under safe conditions, and paid a living wage?
❄️ Made to Last -- Avoid shopping for a cheap winter coat just to wear a handful of times and to be replaced next year. Choose quality outerwear made with durable materials that were made to last, and even better, check to see if it comes with a warranty! 👌🏻
.
Do you already have a vegan winter coat? Let us know if it's from one of these brands and/or where you got it from! 💕

    Hey!

Some of the products that you’ve included in the list above are not on the Official Website of Pur Minerals under the Vegan section. Vegan section only includes 34 products and 4in1 Pressed Mineral Makeup is not one of them.

Hiya! This list was provided to me by a representative at PUR cosmetics on Aug 2, 2016.
I see what you’re saying how some of the products on this list are not included on their website’s Vegan product page. As I try and keep this list as accurate and updated as possible.. I’m going to email them and see why there are discrepancies between the two lists! I’ll keep you posted once I hear back! =)

How is any product vegan if it contains synthetic chemicals? I received pur correcting primer and it says on the bottle vegan friendly but contains synthetic chemicals? Tell me how that is possible. Vegan’s don’t mind synthetic chemicals but won’t eat an animal? Seems counter productive.

Vegans don’t eat or use animals or animal derived products. It has nothing to do with chemicals or anything else. It’s a personal choice.

Upon reviewing the ingredients I found that the “Cease Crease” eye primer contains contains casein, which is usually milk derived. I’m not sure if it’s synthetic or not, but I’d be interested in knowing, as I’m on the lookout for a good vegan eye primer.

Hi Kelly! I emailed PÜR as soon as I saw your comment and they FINALLY got back to me and they’ve confirmed that you are right, their ‘Cease Crease’ is made from casein derived from an animal source =( They’ve updated their website and it is no longer listed as vegan-friendly now and I’ve done the same on this list. Arghs!

So sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience and I really appreciate you spotting and telling me about the minor mistake =)

In regards to vegan eye primers, Too Faced (some are vegan) and theBalm cosmetics has some!
