I’m back with another nail polish color from the NCLA x Barbie collaboration. Last time, I reviewed Barbie Dreamhouse and absolutely fell in love with the pretty pink packaging, the color, and overall formula.

This week, for Vegan Mani Monday, I’m trying out Pastel Dreams.

Pastel Dreams – NCLA

Color: Pastel Dreams is described as a pastel pink cream.

Price: USD$16 on nclabeauty.com

Formula: Sheer coverage. Opaque after 3 coats but appeared to be a little streaky where I could see some lines or “holes” in the application. I applied a fourth coat to smooth everything out and get it to where I liked it.

Wear Test: lasted 4-5 days without chipping.

Comments: Pastel Dreams didn’t apply as opaque as Barbie Dreamhouse did. I feel like it requires 3-4 coats which is way more than I would like, however, the color is very cute and totally suits Barbie’s signature pink theme.

Because of its adorable limited edition miniature box and packaging, I would recommend Pastel Dreams as more of a collectible item. NCLA totally nailed with the Barbie themed pink packaging!

Where to buy? NCLA’s website.

PR or purchased? In full disclosure, NCLA sent me their nail polish to try. I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed are always 100% my own.

I can’t get over the packaging! Barbie never gets old. And the color is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
