“It’s not about being perfect! And we don’t know any vegans who walk around saying that they are, or that they cause zero harm. Veganism doesn’t mean causing ZERO harm (that would be delusional)... but it definitely means causing a lot less of it!! And causing LESS harm than before (before being vegan) is definitely worth celebrating and continuing to advocate for.

Don’t let the vegan haters get you down. Usually the people pointing their fingers and trying to find a flaw in veganism are the ones who simply don’t understand it or don’t know what it takes to stand for something.” (Words by @vegan_boss, 📸 via @unmeatfuture)

OPI Venice 2015 Inspired With Vegan Alternatives!

OPI 2015 Venice Inspired

The other day, I got an email in my inbox from an online shop where I get most of my cruelty-free and vegan nail polish from. The shop also sells non-vegan brands so the newsletter that arrived in my inbox was about the release of OPI’s Venice Fall 2015 collection.

As I was about to delete the e-mail since OPI isn’t cruelty-free and sells in China, where it is required by law to test on animals… I caught a glimpse of the colors and I hate to admit it but I was really diggin’ them.

However there was no way  I was about to give in without a good hunt to find cruelty-free and vegan alternatives to OPI’s 2015 Venice nail polish colors. Luckily, after my discovery of over 40 vegan nail polish brands, I knew this task was going to be easy peasy!

Inspired by OPI's 2015 Venice Collection, here are cruelty-free and vegan dupes!

What color are you loving from this OPI 2015 Venice Inspired Collection?

What do you think?

Oh my gosh please do a post like this for the new Iceland collection! It’s driving me crazy OPI not being cruelty free with colours like that!

I know that this is from 2015, but it is SUCH a good idea! I hope you’ve continued to do this with more recent collections – I just stumbled upon this post and haven’t had time to search yet, but I’ll be spending my morning reading your blog now 🙂

I love that peachy-pink coral color. The alternative from China Glaze looks great! These colors you chose are really spot-on to the OPI ones.
