NCLA – Tennis Anyone? Cruelty-Free & Vegan Nail Polish Review

NCLA’s Tennis Anyone? is a very special nail polish to me because it was actually the very first NCLA cruelty-free and vegan nail polish that I’ve ever purchased!

Fast forward 4 years later and I’m an NCLA nail polish addict! So, I was excited when NCLA sent me a new bottle of NCLA Tennis Anyone? as I still have their older bottle, which I bought on nailpolishcanada.com for all my Canadian peeps.

I love this pastel yellow nail polish color, I always get compliments whenever I wear this color and it’s usually my go-to shade throughout the Summer.

Tennis Anyone? is one out of four colors in NCLA’s Country Club Collection.

The NCLA Country Club is VIP only, and you’re on the list, babe! The collection features four muted pastel cream nail lacquers. Whether you’re perfecting your tennis or sipping cocktails at brunch, the Country Club colors are your new go-to pastels!

NCLA – Tennis Anyone?

Color: Tennis Anyone? by NCLA is described a light yellow pastel cream.

Price: $16 on nclabeauty.com

Formula: Opaque and full-coverage in 2 coats. Good formula and consistency. Applied very evenly and opaque. NCLA’s Tennis Anyone? comes with a bigger applicator brush than other NCLA’s nail polish bottles.

Wear Test: NCLA, Tennis Anyone? lasted 3-4 days without chipping.

Comments: To my surprise, Tennis Anyone? had a much bigger brush than any other NCLA polish I own which takes some time getting used to. I have very small and narrow nails so a wider nail polish applicator brush require careful and precise application for me.

You do want a decent amount of polish on the brush when applying. After 2 coats, I found that on the nails that I didn’t have as much product on the brush, I could sort of see some brush strokes. This is always tricky with pastel and light colors. But again, only one or two of my nails had that issue.

I just simply applied a third coat on the nails where I could see faint lines and it evened out beautifully.

I did appreciate the opacity and consistency of the new Tennis Anyone? formula. I think they may have reformulated from their first version because this newer bottle is definitely more opaque than the one I bought 4 years ago.

All of NCLA nail polishes are proudly made with love in California, 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and 7-Free meaning they don’t contain Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, DBP, Toluene, Camphor, TPHP, or Xylene.
