I was so excited when one of my favorite cruelty-free and 100% vegan nail polish brands, NCLA, came out with their own line of vegan lipsticks and I didn’t think I can hear better news than that, but oh baby, it definitely gets better.

I’ve reviewed and shared some of the nail polish in the limited edition NCLA x Barbie collection before, but get this, they also have Barbie lipsticks!!

Yes girl, I’m trying to play it cool right now too.

In addition to nail polish and cuticle oil, the NCLA x Barbie collection also includes four lipsticks; two are tinting jelly balms and the other two are pink semi-matte shades.

I have and will be reviewing one of each in the shades; Ballerina Barbie and Barbie Convertible.

NCLA x Barbie – Ballerina Barbie Lipstick

Ballerina Barbie Lipstick – NCLA x Barbie

Color: Ballerina Barbie is described as a muted pink with a semi-matte cream finish.

Price: $16 on nclabeauty.com

Formula: Creamy, pigmented, applies very smoothly and evenly. Comfortable to wear on the lips. It is not transfer-proof, so it needs reapplication throughout the day.

This is the perfect ?? classic Barbie pink lipstick color. This shade just screams Barbie!

NCLA x Barbie – Jelly Balm Lipstick

Barbie Convertible Jelly Balm – NCLA x Barbie

Color: Barbie Convertible is a jelly balm lipstick, NCLA explains it goes “on clear and instantly combine with your natural PH levels for a perfectly dewey pink pout.”

Price: $16 on nclabeauty.com

This is actually my first time trying a jelly balm lipstick! I’ve always been intrigued by the color-changing concept and found it fascinating how it can looks different on each of us. Totally giving me mood ring vibes, remember those? ?

Formula: It goes on like a lip balm, super hydrating and nourishing on the lips with an ever-so-slight tint of color. But if you give it a sec, the pigment on your lips will start to progress into a very natural-looking lip color.

The Jelly Balm Lipstick on me appeared to leave a subtle tint of pink like I just finished eating a red lollipop. It does dry down to what feels more like a lip gloss, so I don’t feel like this is a lip balm replacement per se.

But on days when I’m going for a natural look or minimal makeup, which is most days, I will easily reach for this jelly balm and it has become one of my favorite lip product this year!

All of NCLA lipsticks are paraben free, 100% Vegan, and made in the USA.

Ingredients: Octyldodecanol, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Isononyl Isononanoate, Silica, Tricaprylyl Citrate, Ozokerite, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Paraffin, Phenyl Trimethicone, Microcrystalline Wax (Cera Microcristallina), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Stearyl Stearoyl Stearate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Vanillin, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Red 28 (CI 45410)
