Unilever Acquires Cruelty-Free Beauty Brand Tatcha for a Reported $500 Million
_
Tatcha is still considered to be cruelty-free (as of right now and we'll be closely monitoring any updates to their animal testing policies) however, Unilever is definitely NOT cruelty-free as their products/ingredients are tested on animals when required by law in 2019.
_
For those of you who choose to boycott CF brands that are owned by a parent company that is not cruelty-free, then sadly Tatcha should be avoided. However, if you choose to support these CF brands and want to know which of Tatcha skincare products are also vegan, you can find a vegan product list below!
_
Tatcha isn't a 100% vegan beauty brand however they do offer some vegan options 💜

Tatcha Vegan Products (2019):
❁ Camellia Gold Spun Lip Balm
❁ Cherry Blossom Lip Balm
❁ Gentle Rice Enzyme Powder
❁ Gold Camellia Beauty Oil
❁ One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil
❁ Red Camellia Lip Balm
❁ The Essence
❁ The Water Cream
❁ Violet-C Brightening Serum

Medusa’s Makeup Cruelty-Free & Vegan Monthly Beauty Box

This post may contain affiliate links.

Medusa’s Makeup’s monthly beauty box is a vegan makeup lovers’ DREAM.

This is my first time trying out Medusa’s Makeup’s beauty box and it just so happens to be their Special Edition Birthday Box! They celebrated their 2nd birthday with their August month’s box (I know, I’m a little late in sharing this but better late than never, am I right?).

Medusa’s Makeup Beauty Box

Before I jump into this month’s box, here’s what you need to know about Medusa’s Makeup’s beauty boxes:

  • Monthly subscription
  • Includes 4 full-size products from Medusa’s Makeup
  • Always cruelty-free and vegan products
  • Price: starting at $15.95/month
  • Ships to US, Canada, and Worldwide

Medusa’s Makeup Special Edition Beauty Box

This month’s box included 4 full-size makeup products from Medusa’s Makeup, along with some bonus items. The total value of this month’s box is $53.95 and everything included is cruelty-free and 100% vegan.

Liquid Lip Gloss in Crazy Train ($11)

A full-coverage liquid lip gloss with a metallic finish. The color Crazy Train is like a copper metallic color. It’s a smooth, long-lasting formula. Applies evenly. It dries down like a liquid lipstick but is very comfortable to wear, it surprisingly doesn’t feel like I have anything on my lips!

Totally Baked Eyeshadow in Bodacious ($9)

A high-pigment shimmer pressed eyeshadow. The color Bodacious is like a dark shimmery brown. I’ve used this as a base for a smokey eye look and it worked perfectly. It’s blendable, pigmented, and glides on smoothly.

Mystical Eye Dust in Medusa’s ($11.95)

This is a very sparkly loose pigment eyeshadow. The color Medusa’s is a sparkly charcoal grey. It is nice and pigmented. Did I mention that it’s very glittery?

Mineral Blush Laser Beams ($14)

This is a 2-in-1, a highlighter and a blush combined! I absolutely LOVE this. The color Laser Beams is described as a light peachy color with iridescent effects. A stunning color for my pale complexion. This has got to be my favorite product out of the box!!

Also included were some bonus items including a cruelty-free and vegan coconut oil makeup remover wipe by Cocobetty ($3), a Medusa’s Makeup pop socket ($3) for your phone, and some kickass Medusa stickers ($2).

Overall, I’m so happy with my first ever Medusa’sMakeup beauty box! I’ve heard of Medusa’s Makeup for some time now so receiving this box was such a treat because I got to try out a variety of their makeup products! If you want to get your hands on a monthly box for yourself or for a gift, you can subscribe and purchase on their website.
