Is Kenra Cruelty-Free?

Kenra is Cruelty-free! None of Kenra’s ingredients, formulations, or finished products are tested on animals, anywhere in the world.

However, it should be noted that Kenra is owned by Henkel, a parent corporation that does test on animals when required by law.

Kenra has confirmed they do not test their products or ingredients on animals, they do not allow others to test on their behalf, their suppliers also do not test on animals, they do not allow their products to be tested on animals when required by law, and their products are not sold in stores in mainland China or any other country that may require animal testing.

Kenra Acquired by Henkel

In 2014, Kenra was acquired by Henkel, a corporation that does test on animals when required by law.

Although Kenra is owned by Henkel, the brand has remained committed to being a cruelty-free brand.

Is Kenra Sold in China?

All imported cosmetics sold in mainland China are required by law to be tested on animals, however, Kenra confirmed they do not sell their products in China, therefore they are not required to test on animals.

Is Kenra Vegan?

Kenra currently does not offer any vegan products.

Unfortunately, Kenra does not have any vegan-friendly products, stating:

Our products, including Kenra Color, are not vegan friendly. We utilize ingredients that come from animals, such as bee propolis, keratin and hydrolyzed silk.

Kenra is Cruelty-Free, Not Vegan
