do you know if the newer vibrancy organ oil foundation is vegan?

Hi! I’ve been lurking on here for a while as a vegan who buys way too many skincare and makeup products, so this website has been a big help deciphering what’s vegan and what’s not. I had the same question about the Vibrancy Foundation, and I e-mailed Josie Maran directly – apologies in advance for the long thread –

Me: “Hi! Is your Vibrancy foundation vegan?”
      JM: “Hi Taylor,

Thanks for taking the time to write in. We’re proud to say that we do offer many vegan products in our line. We’ve included a list of some of our products below that are vegan-friendly.

      100% Pure Argan Oil
      100% Pure Argan Oil Light
      Argan Reserve
      Argan Milk
      Mud Masks
      Self-Tanning Oil
      Bear Naked Wipes
      Body Butter
      Self-Tanning Body Butter
      Body Oil
Cleansing Oil (for face and body)
Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 47
      Exfoliating Powder
      High Gloss Lip Quench
      Hot Oil Treatment
      Illuminizer
      Illuminizer Powder
      Luminous Hydrating Liquid Powder
      Matchmaker Serum Foundation
      Vibrancy Foundation
      Nail Wipes
      Sugar Balm Body Scrub

      Best,
      JMC”

I kind of wanted clarification, because I’ve read in lots of places that the Vibrancy concealer is vegan but can’t find information on the foundation, and the Foundation is included on the above list but not the concealer, so I emailed back two more times with clarifying questions.

Me: “Great! So the squalane in the Vibrancy Foundation is not animal-derived? Thank you!”
      JM: “Hi Taylor,

The squalane in all of our products is derived from plants and vegetables. Have a great day!

      Best,
      JMC”

      and finally:

Me: “Can I ask one more question? Are both the Vibrancy Foundation and concealer vegan?”
      JM: “Hi Taylor,

The concealer is also vegan-friendly. Have a great day!

      Best,
      JMC”

So, I just wanted to share this info because I was having a hard time finding anything about the Foundation online. I think it’s a little strange they wouldn’t have one complete vegan list, but… do with this what you will! I also have screenshots of the conversation if people would like them.
