R+Co is cruelty-free. None of R+Co’s ingredients, formulations, or finished products are tested on animals, anywhere in the world.
All of R+Co formulas are vegan however their hair brushes are not vegan as they’re made with boar bristles.
R+Co does not claim or market itself as a sustainable company but they’re working on transitioning their shampoo and conditioner bottles to post-consumer recycled plastic.
R+Co has been non-responsive when I asked if their mica is ethically-sourced without the use of child labor.
R+Co products come in plastic packaging. They launched their new SUPER GARDEN CBD Shampoo + Conditioner bottles using 55% post-consumer recycled materials. And claim they plan on transitioning all R+Co shampoo and conditioner to PCR bottles over the course of 2021.
