Mudd Beauty is cruelty-free. None of Mudd’s ingredients, formulations, or finished products are tested on animals, anywhere in the world.
All of Mudd Beauty products are 100% vegan and don’t contain any animal-derived ingredients or by-products.
Mudd Beauty is committed to using organic ingredients, as well as, carefully selecting suppliers that work within the Ethical Trade Initiative and that do not support child labor in the mining and processing of their products.
Mudd Beauty claims their mica is ethically-sourced from Europe and without the use of child labor.
Mudd Beauty products come in plastic packaging. I couldn’t find anything stating they’re working on reducing their use of virgin plastic in their product packaging.

Ethical Mica Sourcing Policy

I asked Mudd Beauty if their mica is ethically sourced without forced or child labor and they responded stating, 

“Thank you so much for reaching out and we totally understand your concern, we are against the use of child labour, our products are manufactured in Italy and our mica is sourced around Europe from privately owned mines and are child labour free.”
