How Ethical Is Live Love Polish?

Make a positive impact by supporting companies with the same values and ethics as what matters most to you. To navigate and find ethical brands, here's a summary of Live Love Polish's ethics and initiatives.

Ethical Analysis

Is Live Love Polish cruelty-free, 100% vegan, or sustainable? We’ve got the answers here! Read below for more details on Live Love Polish’s policies.
Live Love Polish is cruelty-free. None of Live Love Polish’s ingredients, formulations, or finished products are tested on animals, anywhere in the world.
All of Live Love Polish products are 100% vegan and don’t contain any animal-derived ingredients or by-products.
Live Love Polish does not claim or market itself as a sustainable company.
Live Love Polish claims their vendors agree to “fair labor practices” but they don’t have “complete visibility into their sourcing”. It’s not clear where their mica is mined or sourced from and how they trace or audit to ensure no child labor was involved.
Live Love Polish packaging has some plastic components. I couldn’t find anything stating they’re working on reducing their use of virgin plastic in their product packaging.

Ethical Mica Sourcing Policy

I asked Live Love Polish if their mica is ethically sourced without forced or child labor and they responded stating,

“Our vendors agree to fair labour practices, but we don’t always have complete visibility into their sourcing. Please note, not all of our products contain mica! If you have questions about specific polishes, I’d be more than happy to get those details for you.”
