Deep Steep Argan Oil Sugar Scrub

I was uber excited to see that iHerb.com carries a bunch of products from Deep Steep! The only other store I’ve seen Deep Steep products was at Winners but I usually only find their hand wash. I’ve been dying to try some of Deep Steep‘s vegan products for awhile now so I nearly cried from excitement when I saw that iHerb carries an extensive selection of their products!

Also, it’s cheaper on iHerb so it’s almost like I got it at the department discount store! =) I decided to try one of their argan oil sugar scrubs and since I love passion fruit, it was a no brainer for my first Deep Steep product to be passion fruit & guava scented!

How to use?

In the shower and after washing, use Deep Steep’s sugar scrub and in circular motions, buff skin until sugar dissolves. Rinse and pat dry.

It smells ahhhhmazing! I can’t get over it. The smell of passion fruit and guava does linger after using the scrub and leaves your towel, clothes, and skin smelling heavenly! If you don’t like heavily scented products, this might not be for you.

The scrub itself is very buttery and there’s not as much sugar in this scrub making it a more gentle exfoliant compared to other body scrubs I’ve tried. It’s not too harsh or abrasive. The product also doesn’t separate in the container which makes application hassle-free.

After using Deep Steep’s sugar scrub, my skin feels cleansed, smooth, super soft, and polished. It does leave a bit of an “oily” feeling on your skin when you come out of the shower after using the scrub so there’s no need to apply moisturizer. The oil will absorb into your skin leaving it looking hydrated and moisturized.

Cons:

Because I’m using this as more of a “body scrub” and there’s not as much sugar in the scrub, I find that I end up using more product in order to try and get a good exfoliation in. And in doing so, I can’t image this container lasting more than 6 uses.

The product does leave your bathtub a bit slippery. There’s a warning on the label for this and I can understand why it’s on there.

Final Thoughts on Deep Steep’s Argan Oil Vegan Sugar Scrub:

I am very pleased with this vegan sugar scrub by Deep Steep! I would definitely buy it again and look forward to trying their other scents especially their Fig + Apricot! It makes the perfect gentle body exfoliant that’ll leave your skin looking and feeling soft and hydrated!
